Small but mighty, don’t underestimate the power of the Scorpion 2. Donald wanted to make a wider tail, narrower nose and more rounded out version of the popular Scorpion model. This allows the surfer to go a little shorter in board length and can sport multiple fi n combinations. This board excels in small California style surf to well overhead island style barrels. It’s a very fast paddler with easy tail control and the Tuflite construction gives it unparalleled durability. The Scorpion 2 Tuflite V-Tech is a must have for every surf quiver!

Foamie
"Thruster"
Dimensions Who knows? Very floaty!
Construction: Foam
Lvl: Absolute beginner/Kook King
This is an 8ft blank foam board. shaped and procured locally. Organic and gluten free, this board is a high performance mini-long board (8'0) and is one of the best foam boards, not on the market. It's a secret where these boards come from. But they are local to San Diego, and the beach areas. This is what we teach a majority of our intro into surfing lessons on. It's a great longboard, transition board coming from bigger thicker foam, and is shaped like an actual surfboard.

Wavestorm
AKA the $99 Costco Board
KooksRUs
Dimensions: Who knows?
Construction: Chinese Foam
Lvl: Kook to the Max
Love it or hate it they are everywhere. Straight up, we only put little girls on these boards when we teach. They are useless for anyone above 100lbs. They are littered across the burbs because once upon a time, these were literally the cheapest surf board anyone ever could purchase new. They are ok for what they are good for which is maybe getting some cheapskate into surfing. They are not great surf boards and made in China.

Walk on Water
WOW Mission Bay
"Foamie Longboard"
Dimensions: Oh gawd, like 200L lol
Construction: Foam
Lvl: Kook
Meet the beast of the surf line, the nine foot big boy. This surfboard can float almost any surfer you can find. Any surfer who has trouble catching waves, or just doesn’t feel like the surfboard you are using is stable enough to pop up on, this is the board for you. Many nine foot taller foam surfboards have a chronic issue with breaking due to the length and wieght of the surfboard against a crashing wave. But this board answers this concern with it’s generous build out of stringers, mesh bottom and high quality EPS core.
